{Zero code Development} Workflow when something enters queue: Dynamics CRM 2011/2013/2015

One of the recent queries I found on forum is a way to process out of box, if something enters my queue do some tasks creation as well.

I was researching on it and found the following possible way to achieve this.

Create a Workflow on Queue Item entity:

Now processing part. Check condition for Queue name in condition:

{Tips and Tricks} Some Gems to Learn for Auditing on Customization changes: Dynamics CRM 2011/ 2013/2015

Many times I have had the requirements from System administrators and consultants as a need to identify who changed the views in the system, who changed the dashboards and security roles etc. There is a very simple solution to this.

We need to enable auditing on this entities and it will start tracking the changes made.

Taking example of Views. Go to Settings->Customizations->Customize the system.

Go to Views and enable auditing:

Click save and Publish.

Then, let’s see the logs. Go to Settings->Auditing->Audit Summary View:

I also have examples of Security Role taken as well(Auditing can be enabled in the same way as Views):

Now expanding Audit logs individually (one below is for Security Roles):

This becomes very useful as it is out of box and good way to audit customization changes as well.
